AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1418 NORTH MISSOURI STREET, PERMITTING
OUTSIDE DISPLAY OF BOATS DURING BUSINESS HOURS, AS WELL AS,
OVERNIGHT IN A CONNECTING CORRIDOR DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Planning Commission, on February
14, 2023, for a Special Use Permit permitting outside display of boats during business hours, as
well as, overnight, as required by Ordinance No.2591, as amended; and
WHEREAS, after notice had been published for the time and in the manner as provided
by Ordinance No. 2591, as amended, the matter was heard by the City Planning Commission on
Wednesday, February 22, 2023, and the Planning Commission recommended a Special Use
Permit be permitted to allow outside display of boats during business hours, as well as,
overnight, in a Connecting Corridor District, with the following criteria:
1. In accordance with the attached Site Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The following described property, to wit:
1418 North Missouri Street
West Memphis, Araksnas
and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit for allowing outside display of boats during
business hours, as well as, overnight in a Connecting Corridor District, subject to the following
criteria:
1. In accordance with the attached Site Plan.
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed. RECEIVED
