AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 5 OF ORDINANCE NO. 2361, SECTION 1
OF ORDINANCE NO. 2402 AND SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 2516
REGARDING THE SALARY FOR THE OFFICE OF CITY CLERK AND TO AMEND
THE SALARY FOR THE OFFICE OF CITY TREASURER FOR THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS,the City Council finds that the salaries of the offices of City Clerk and City
Treasurer should be consistent with the current salaries of City Council members;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 2361, Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2402 and Section
1 of Ordinance No. 2516 is hereby to read as follows:
The annual salary for the City Clerk shall be $15,600.00.
SECTION 2. The annual salary for the position of City Treasurer shall be $15,600.00.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed
to the extent of any such conflict. ,,1
