2627 ORDINANCE NO. 6.2
AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS, LOCATED IN TAYLOR-HEMENWAY SUBDIVISION,
ON NORTH 7th STREET FROM I-1-C INDUSTRIAL LIGHT CORE
DISTRICT TO SC-2, SUBURBAN COMMERCIAL 2 OPEN DISPLAY.
WHEREAS, application was made to the City Planning Commission to rezone the
hereinafter described property, and after notice having been published for the time and in the
manner as provided by Ordinance No. 1988, as amended, the matter was heard by the City
Planning Commission on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, and the Planning Commission
recommended to approve the application to rezone the following property from I-1-C
Industrial Light Core District to SC-2, Suburban Commercial 2, Open Display.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I: That the following described property located in the City of West
Memphis, Crittenden County, Arkansas, to wit:
Parcel# 384576000000 as Lot 7 of the Taylor-Hemenway Subdivision containing 1.79
Acres in Section 6 of Township 6 North Range 9 East.
Parcel# 384575000000 as Lot 6-A of the Taylor-Hemenway Subdivision containing
1.45 Acres in Section 6 of Township 6 North Range 9 East as recorded in Plat Book 4
Page 302.
Parcel # 384575005000 as Lot 6-B of the Taylor-Hemenway Subdivision containing
3.579 Acres in Section 6 Of Township 6 North Range 9 East as recorded in Plat Book
4 Page 302.
Parcel# 384574000000 as Lot 5 of the Taylor-Hemenway Subdivision containing
76.85 Acres in Section 6 of Township 6 North Range 9 East as recorded in Plat Book 3
Page 150.
