RESOLUTION 139
WHEREAS, at the meeting of the West Memphis Planning
Commission on January 30, 1991, the Planning Commission considered
and recommended a change in the West Memphis Comprehensive Plan
for a portion of Hulbert Subdivision of irregular lots, from
General Industrial District to Single-Family Residential District
of the following described lands, and the City Council finds that
the recommended change in the Comprehensive Plan should be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,
ARKANSAS:
That the West Memphis Comprehensive Plan be amended to Single-
Family Residential with respect to the following described property:
Common addresses: 519-713 Rainer Road
Legal Description: A tract of land lying in the west half of
Section 24, Township-6-North, Range-B-East of the Fifth
Principal Meridian and North of the North Line of the South
half of the south half of the north half of Section 24, T-6-N,
R-8-E and lying south of Rainer Road in the City of West Memphis,
Arkansas more particularly described as follows:
All of Lot 47 of Bond's Survey of Irregular Lots as recorded
in Plat Book 1, Page 106 in the Office of the Circuit Court
Clerk of Crittenden County, Arkansas and that portion of
Lot 46 of said Bond's Survey of Irregular Lots, lying north
of the north line of the south half of the south half of the
north half of Section 24, T-6-N, R-B-E, said line being the
existing city limits line, and a portion of Lot 39 of said
Bond's Survey of Irregular Lots, and portion described as
follows: Beginning at a point on the south line of Rainer
Road that is 178.50 feet North 75 degrees 25 minutes 21
seconds east of the intersection of the south line of Rainer
Road and the west line of Section 24, T-6-N, R-B-E, thence
South 15 degrees 06 minutes 50 seconds East a distance of
413.64 feet to the intersection with the north line of the
south half of the south half of the north half of Section 24,
T-6-N, R-B-E, said line being the existing City Limits, thence
north 88 degrees 59 minutes 21 seconds east along said City
Limits line a distance of 1039.53 feet to a point on the
east line of Lot 39, thence North 1 degree 46 minutes 24
seconds west along the east line of Lot 39 a distance of
675.49 feet to a point on the south line of Rainer Road,
thence South 75 degrees 25 minutes 21 seconds West along
the south line of Rainer Road a distance of 1164.10 feet
to the Point of Beginning.
