A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO GRANT
AGREEI~NT FOR PROJECT NO. 3-05-0065-02 FROM THE
FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE AGREffiKENT
WHEREAS, The City of West Memphis has been approved for
assistance under the Airport Improvement Program, as authorized
by the Airport and Airway Improvement Act of 1982, as amended by
the Airport and Airway Safety and Capacity Expansion Act of 1987,
and/or the Aviation Safety and Noise Abatement Act of 1979; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter
referred to as the ("FAA") has determined it to be in the inter-
est of the United States, and the city of West Memphis. Arkansas.
(hereinafter referred to as the "Sponsor"), accepted by said
Sponsor on the 20th day of Septembers 1988, be amended as herein-
after provided; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration has requested
Grant Agreement for Project No. 3-05-0065-02, a copy of which is
attached hereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, that in consideration of the
benefits to accrue to the parties hereto, the FAA on behalf of
the United States, on the one part, and the Sponsor, on the other
part, do hereby mutually agree that the property map referred to

AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO GRANT AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT N0. 3-05-0065-02
HEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter referred to as the
"FAA") has determined it to be in the interest of the United States that the
Grant Agreement between the FAA, acting for and on behalf of the United
States, and the city of West Memphis, Arkansas, (hereinafter referred to as
the "Sponsor"), accepted by said Sponsor on the 20th day of September, 1988,
be amended as hereinafter provided.
NOW THEREFORE, WITNESSETH:
That in consideration of the benefits to accrue to the parties hereto, the
FAA on behalf of the United States, on the one part, and the Sponsor, on the
other part, do hereby mutually agree that the property map referred to on
Page 1 of the Grant Agreement is the property map, Exhibit "A", dated
August 1988, revised February 1991, attached to this Amendment No. 1 and
incorporated into the Grant Agreement by reference and made a part thereof.
