A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, SUPPORTING THE
OUTDOOR RECREATION GRANTS PROGRAM APPLICATION.
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis is desirous of continuing
to undertake the improvement of the park and recreation system of
the City of West Memphis; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis is desirous to undertake
Park and Recreation activities with funds available under the
provision of the Outdoor Recreation Grants Program; and
WHEREAS, the Application and Program Description for the
Outdoor Recreation Grants Program has been prepared by the City
of West Memphis.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
1. That the Application and Program Description for the
Outdoor Recreation Grants Program is hereby approved
for expansion of the Parks and Recreation System.
2. That the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to submit
to the Arkansas Department of Parks and .Tourism said
Application and Program Description.
3. That the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to provide
_ additional information to the Arkansas Department
of Parks and Tourism.
4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
