SETTING DATE FOR HEARING ON ABANDONMENT OF PARK
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Council of the City
of West Memphis, Arkansas, a petition seeking the abandonment of the
"park" shown on the plat of Avondale Gardens Subdivision in the City
of West Memphis, Arkansas, of record in the office of the Recorder of
Crittenden County, Arkansas, in Plat Book 2 at page 38, lying between
the east line of Lot 1 in Block 2 of Avondale Gardens Subdivision and
the west line of Avondale Circle as shown on said plat, said park
area measuring 11.0 feet east and west on the north end and 32.5 feet
east and west on the south end and the strip being approximately
175.0 feet in depth running north and south; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City Council fix a day for
the hearing of such petition and to direct that the City Clerk give
notice of such meeting by publication once a week for two consecutive
weeks in some newspaper published in the county and having a general
circulation in the City of West Memphis, Arkansas: NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,
ARKANSAS:

M., be fixed as the date and time for the hearing of said petition
and that the City Clerk give notice of such meeting by publication
once a week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in
the county and having a general circulation in the City of West
Memphis, Arkansas.
