AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE A LOT SPLIT PLAT AND DEDICATION OF
PROPERTY FOR STREET EXTENSION IN THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS
LOCATED WITHIN THE TAYLOR-HEMENWAY SUBDIVISION ON NORTH
7th STREET AND INTERSTATE COMMERCE DRIVE.
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Planning Commission, on
August 17, 2023, for a Lot Split Plat allowing a commercial site within the SC-2,
Suburban Commercial 2 Open Display Zoning as amended by Ordinance No. 2627. and
for Street Right-of-Way Dedication on Interstate Center Drive,
WHEREAS, after notice the matter was considered by the City Planning
Commission Chair and the Planning and Development Director with administrative
approval on Wednesday, September 14, 2023, and to be placed before the City Council
for consideration.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS ARKANSAS:
Section I: That the following described property located in the City of West Memphis,
Crittenden County, Arkansas be platted to wit:
A part of the SE '/4 SW V4 or Section 6, Township 6 North, Range 9 East, and being a
fractional part of Lot 5 in the total size of 3.29 acres, within the Taylor-Hemenway
Subdivision, City of West Memphis, Crittenden County,Arkansas, as shown by plat
recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 139 and Plat Book 3, Page 150. This site is hereby
referred to as Lot 5-D.
SECTION 11: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
