AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR THE
• PROPERTY LOCATED AT 710 EAST BROADWAY AVENUE,PERMITTING A s
CONVENIENCE STORE IN A DTMU-1 DOWNTOWN MIXED USE 1
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS,application has been made to the City Planning Commission, on August 25,
2023, fora Special Use Permit which permits a convenience store in a DTMU-1 Downtown.
Mixed Use 1 District, as required by Ordinance No.2591, as amended; and
WHEREAS, after notice had been published for the time and in the manner as provided
by Ordinance No. 2591, as amended,the matter was heard by the City Planning Commission on
Wednesday, September 27, 2023, and the Planning Commission recommended a Special Use
Permit be permitted to allow a convenience store, in a DTMU-1 Downtown Mixed Use 1
District;
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL-OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: .The following described property,to wit:
71.0 East Broadway Avenue -
West Memphis, Arkansas
and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit for allowing a convenience store in a
DTMU-1 Downtown Mixed Use 1 District.
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are•hereby
repealed. •
