RESOLUTION NO..~
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE WILLINGNESS OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, TO PARTICIPATE
IN THE INDUSTRIAL ACCESS ROAD PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis, Arkansas,
understands that certain State funds are available for
improvements to qualified Industrial Access Road, as
approved by Minute Order 91-95; and
WHEREAS, the City understands that its local matching
portion of this project will be 80X of the total
construction cost, excluding preliminary engineering and
construction engineering; and
WHEREAS, the City agrees to provide all right-of-way
and adjustment of utilities at no cost to the State;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION I: The Mayor of the City of West Memphis and
the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to execute
all appropriate agreements and contracts necessary to
expedite the construction of the improvements under the
Industrial Access Road Program.
SECTION II: The City of West Memphis pledges its full
support and hereby authorizes the Arkansas State Highway
and Transportation Department to initiate action to
construct this project.
