A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE PURCHASE AGREEMENTS BETWEEN
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS,AND JAME HARRIS,AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS.
WHEREAS,James Harris,as Seller, and the City of West Memphis,Arkansas,as
Purchaser,have entered into an agreement for the Purchaser to acquire 2761 Elm Cove,2800
East Grove Drive,2801 Oak Cove,2803 Oak Cove,2802 East Grove Drive and 2822 Oak Cove,
West Memphis,Arkansas; and
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of West Memphis,Arkansas, finds that the
Purchase Agreements are in the best interests of the City of West Memphis and that the Mayor
and the City Clerk should be authorized to execute the agreements on behalf of the City of West
Memphis;
• NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS,THAT the Purchase Agreements between James

Harris and the City of West Memphis,Arkansas, are hereby approved and the Mayor and the
City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the agreements on behalf of the City of West
Memphis, and to take any and all other actions as may be necessary or appropriate to effectuate
the agreements. .
