WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Council of
the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, by Lodging Development &
Management, Inc., a petition to vacate the following alley and
street:
(a) The 30-foot alley abutted on the north by Lots
1, 2, 3, 4 and on the south by Lots 8, 9, 10, and 11 in Block
6 of Wheeler Subdivision, West Memphis, Arkansas, as shown by
plat of record in Plat Book 2 at pages 113 and 114, more
particularly described as beginning at the northwesterly
corner of said Lot 8, thence continue in a northerly direction
30 feet to the southwesterly corner of said Lot 4, thence
easterly along the south line of said Lots 4, 3, 2 and 1 to
the west line of 20th Street, thence south to the
northeasterly corner of said Lot 11, thence westerly to the
point of beginning;
(b) That part of 20th Street abutted on the west by Lots
! 1 and 11 in Block 6 of the Wheeler Subdivision as shown by the
above plat and on the east by Lot 5 of the Regency Subdivision
as shown by the above plat, more particularly described as
beginning at the northeasterly corner of said Lot il, thence
east 60 feet to the west line of Lot 5 of the Regency
subdivision, thence north 230.48 feet along the west line of
said Lot 5 to the northeasterly point of 20th street, thence
60 feet west to the northeasterly corner of Lot 1 in Block 6
of the Wheeler Subdivision, thence in a southerly direction
230.48 feet to the point of beginning,
and said petitioner prays that the City Council fix a day for
the hearing on said petition:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That said petition to close the above described alley and
street in the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, be set down for
hearing on the 18th day of February, 1993, at 1:30 p.m. at the
,~„ City Council Chambers in the City of West Memphis, Arkansas,
and that the City Clerk give notice as required by law of the
hearing to be held.

All persons are hereby notified and advised that the City
