RESOLUTION NO. ~ 358
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF TWO LIENS FOR GRASS
CUTTING SERVICES PERFORMED BY THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS.
WHEREAS, Resolution 1346 adopted by the West Memphis City
Council certified charges to be placed as liens against certain
property within the City of West Memphis, including that property
located at 434 South 11th Street and 435 SoLtth 11th Street, for
grass cutting services performed by the City of West Memphis
pursuant to Ordinance 1385; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 1346 certified charges of $108.31 to be
placed as a lien against the property owned by Nathan Rodgers ET AL
at 434 South 11th Street in West Memphis, and charges of $108.31 to
be placed as a lien against the property owned by Nathan Rodgers ET
AL at 435 South 11th Street in West Memphis for grass cutting; and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Code Enforcement
Office that records indicate the properties were cut by both the
owner and the City of West Memphis during this time period; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Code Enforcement
Office that the lien of $108.31 placed against the property located
at 434 South 11th Street in West Memphis by Resolution 1346 be
removed and the administrative fees of $18.31 of the lien placed
against the property located at 435 South 11th Street in, West
Memphis by Resolution 1346 be removed, leaving a balance of $90.00
against the property located at 435 South 11th Street in West
Memphis;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
1. The liens imposed by Resolution 1346 pursuant to the
authority of Ordinance 1385 against the property owned by Nathan
Rodgers ET AL at 434 South 11th Street and 435 South 11th Street in
West Memphis, Arkansas, are hereby authorized to be removed;
2. The Code Enforcement Office is directed to forward a copy
of this Resolution to the Crittenden County Tax Collector's Office
and to the property owner.
