RESOLUTION ~ ~~
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Memphis,
Arkansas, is considering adoption of the New Zoning Ordinance
and Official Zoning Map; and,
WHEREAS, there is a considerable difference between the
current and proposed zoning district designation on the map;
and,
WHEREAS, it is possible that unintentional errors or
omissions could have occurred on the map;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
1. That any property owner aggrieved by the proposed
Official Zoning Map may apply to the West Memphis Planning
Commission for rezoning under the new Ordinance, and, no
filing fees shall be charged.
2. All such applications must be-received by September
30, 1986.
3. The West Memphis Planning Commission shall complete
the appropriate public notices and conduct the Public Hearing on
said proposed changes on October 29, 1986.
4. After such Public Hearing the Planning Commission
will report its findings and recommendations on all such
proposed rezonings to the City Council; and, the City Council
will vote on the adoption of all such amendments.
5. Any applications for rezoning that are filed after
September 30, 1986, shall follow the full procedure for
amendments as contained in the New Zoni rdinan including
payments of appropriate filing fees and pu
