RESOLUTION NO. ~~
WHEREAS, in the November 4, 1986, GENERAL ELECTION, the
majority of the Citizens of West Memphis, Arkansas, voted for
a One Per Cent (l~) City Wide Sales and Use Tax; and,
WHEREAS, the Tax was badly needed to alleviate a
financial crisis for the City brought about by discontinuance
of Revenue Sharing Funds which the City has enjoyed for some
years in the past; and,
WHEREAS, some public
effort and their own money

WHEREAS, the City of

That the following named individual be commended and
thanked for their efforts toward the passage of a One Per Cent
(lo) Sales and Use Tax for the City of West Memphis at the
November 4, 1986, GENERAL ELECTION.
