WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Council of the City
of West Memphis, Arkansas, by Heath & House Construction Co., Inc., a
petition to vacate the north one-half of Wheeler Avenue abutting on
the south side of Lots 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 in Block 7 of
Wheeler Subdivision, West Memphis, Arkansas, as shown by plat of
record in Plat Book 2, pages 113 and 114 in the office of the
Recorder of Crittenden County, Arkansas, and said petitioner prays
that the City Council fix a day for the hearing on said petiton:
NOW, THBRBFORB, BB IT RESOLVED:
That said petiton to close the north one-half of that part of
Wheeler Avenue in the city of West Memphis, Arkansas, above described
be set down for hearing on the 15th day of January 87, at 1:30

Comes the undersigned Petitioner, being the owner of

of West Memphis, Ark-ansas, states:
That Petitioner, Heath q{ House Construction Go.,
lnc., is the owner of the above described lots abutting the
north one-half of said Wheeler Avenue.
That i n June 1950% the then owners of the 1 ands oict
of wl-,ich the street was carved had said lands surveyed and
a plat tt-,ereof f i 1 ed for record i n tt',e office of the
Recorder of Crittenden County, Artcansas, on August 11,
1 95th, and therein recorded i n Plat BooF:: 1 at page ib4 and
X65 and being designated as Wheeler Subdivision, West
Memphis, Ar~iansas; and thereafter on September ib, 1955, a

office of the Recorder aforesaid and recorded in Flat Book
