AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL PERMIT USE OF THE PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 557 E. BROADWAY, ALSO KNOWN AS: A REPEAT OF LOT ?,
SOUTHWIDE SUBDIVISION, WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, ALLOWING
EASTERN ARKANSAS FLEA MARKET TO HAVE INSIDE AUCTIONS ONLY.
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Planning Commission to allow a
Special Permitted Use of an inside auction in a C-1, General Business District, as required by
Ordinance 1258, as amended.
WHEREAS, after notice has been published for the time and in the manner as provided
by Ordinance 1258, as amended, the matter was heard by the City Planning Commission on May
26, 1999 and the Planning Commission recommended that a Special Permit Use be granted to
Eastern Arkansas Flea Market, 557 E. Broadway, permitting an inside auction, subject to the
special conditions as follows:
1. Auction to be held inside only;
2 Provide adequate parking and hardsurfacing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the following described property, to wit;
. 557 E. Broadway; also known as: Replat of Lot 7, Southwide Subdivision, West
Memphis, Arkansas be, and the same hereby is granted a Special Permit Use
permitting an inside auction, subject to the special conditions as follows:
1. Auction to be held inside only;
2. Provide adequate parking and hardsurfacing.

SECTION 11: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
