1117RESOLUTION NO. ~~-~
WHEREAS, Alderman James Woodell has announced his
resignation from the West Memphis City Council. in order to
pursue business interests outside the City of West Memphis
and a vacancy has been declared to exist; and
WHEREAS, Alderman Woodell has served on the Budget
Committee, the Advertising and Promotion Commission and as
Chairman of the Police Commission; and
WHEREAS, Alderman Woodell was appointed by the Mayor to
serve on the Eastern Leadership Initiative Committee
through the East Arkansas Private Industry Council; and
WHEREAS, Alderman Woodell has served his constituents
in Ward Three and all of the Citizens of West Memphis in an
exemplary manner with ability, devotion and dedication of
purpose and he will be greatly missed;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT James Woodell be
commended by the City Council for his outstanding
leadership and service to the Citizens of Ward Three and
all of West Memphis.
