A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED
WHEREAS, the Arkansas State Highway Department has
negotiated with the City of West Memphis for the acquisition
and use of certain real property; and
WHEREAS, the Arkansas State Highway Department has
prepared a Warranty Deed for the transfer of said property
from the City of West Memphis to the City of West Memphis
for consideration of $1,600.00 to be paid by the Arkansas
State Highway Department, and other good and valuable
consideration; and
WHEREAS, Arkansas Statutes require a written Resolution
authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute said Warranty
Deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT the Mayor and
City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the Warranty
Deed for the transfer of certain real property from the
City of West Memphis to the City of West Memphis for
consideration of $1,600.00 to be paid by the Arkansas State
Highway Department.
