A RESOLUTION COMMENDING CRAIG TBNNISON FOR
TWENTY-FIVE YBARS OF SERVICB ON THE WEST MEMPHIS
AIRPORT COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, Craig Tennison was appointed to the West
Memphis Airport Commission in October of 1962 and he has
served as a Commissioner for the past twenty-five years;
and
WHEREAS, Craig Tennison has served as Vice-Chairman and
currently holds the position of Chairman of the West
Memphis Airport Commission; and
WHEREAS, Craig Tennison has been instrumental in the
growth and continued development of the West Memphis
Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, through his efforts together with the other
Commissioners the West Memphis Municipal Airport has been
successful in receiving federal grants through the Federal
Aviation Administration, including the recent grant of
$486,000.00 for improvements to the facilities at the West
Memphis Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis is indeed grateful to
Craig Tennison and fortunate to have him serving on the
West Memphis Airport Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, that Craig Tennison be
commended for his dedication and service of twenty-five
years on the West Memphis Airport Commission.
