RESOLUTION NO. ~~~
ANNUAL CITY TAX LEVY; FOR GENERAL PURPOSES; 1.8 MILLS;
FOR DEBT SERVICE, 1.8 MILLS; AND, PUBLIC CITY LIBRARY,
.4 MILL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
THAT a tax of 1.8 mills (.0018) upon the dollar
or millage rate as would be determined
by the Roll-Back Provisions implementing
legislation to Amendment No. 59 for
general purposes; and,
THAT a tax of 1.8 mills (.0018) upon the dollar
or millage rate as would be determined
by the Roll-Back Provisions implementing
legislation to Amendment No. 59 for
debt services; and,
THAT a tax of .4 mill (.0004) upon the dollar
or millage rate as would be determined
by the Roll-Back Provisions implementing
legislation to Amendment No. 59 for
the public city library,
be and hereby are levied upon the assessed value of all real
property within the limits of the City of West Memphis,
Arkansas, for the year, 1987; and,
THAT Personal Property Rates for the Tax Year, 1987
shall be calculated by the County Clerk based upon the Roll-Back
Provisions of Amendment No. 59; and,
THAT the City Clerk of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas,
is hereby directed to deliver a certified copy of this Resolution
to the Clerk of the County Court of Crittenden County, Arkansas,
for the tax books for the year, 1987.
