AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ARTICLE III; SECTION 2, PARAGRAPH B,
PERMITTED USES AND SECTION 3, PARAGRAPH B, PERMITTED USES, OF
ZONING ORDINANCE 1258, AS AMENDED, TO ALLOW A WRECKER SERVICE BY
SPECIAL PERMIT USE.
WHEREAS, after a public hearing upon due notice and publications, pursuant to
Article III, Section 2, paragraph B and Section 3, paragraph B of the zoning regulations
adopted by Ordinance 1258, as amended, the Planning Commission has approved and
recommended for adoption the proposed amendments to the zoning regulations adopted by
Ordinance 1258, as amended, to allow a wrecker service by Special Permit Use in a C-2,
Open Display Commercial District; I-1, Limited Industrial District and I-2, General
Industrial District subject to Article V;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Article III, Section 2, paragraph B and Section 3, paragraph B of the
zoning regulations adopted by Ordinance 1258, as amended, is hereby amended to add the
following designation to allow a wrecker service by Special Permit Use in the following
zoning districts:
Auto Wrecker Service, subject to Article V ~-2 I=1 I=2

SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
