A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN
DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY FROM THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS TO JOHN OLDEN PULLUTAM AND KATHERINE
PULLUTAM.
WHEREAS, John Olden Fulluiam has requested a building
permit to reconstruct a structure that was damaged in the
tornado of December 14, 1987; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the property on whicl~r the
structure was built is i_n the name of the Urban Renewal
Agency and said propert}- should be deeded to Mr. Fulluiam
before a building permit can be issued; and
WHEREAS, the City of ~~est Memphis appears to be the
successor in interest to the Urban Renec;al Agents- which no
longer exists;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a quitclaim deed for
the transfer of the City's interest in the property
described as:
The East 45 feet of the South 20 feet of L.ot 30; The
East 45 feet, of Lots 31, 32, and 33 and the East 45
feet of the North 5 feet of Lot 34, aril in Block 70 of
the George T. Kendal Subdivision in the City of West
Memphis, Arkansas
to John Olden Pull.uiam and Katherine Fulluiam, husband and
wife.
