A RESOLUTION COMMENDING FORRBST DUNLAP FOR HI3 SBRVICB
A3 DISASTBR RELIEF COORDINATOR.
WHBRBAS, in the aftermath of the tornado of December
14, 1987, Forrest Dunlap was called upon to serve the
Citizens of West Memphis, Arkansas, as the Disaster Relief
Coordinator; and
WHBRBAS, he continued to coordinate disaster relief
efforts through the flood conditions of December 25, 1987;
and
WHBRBAS, through his willingness to serve his fellow
citizens and his outstanding efforts many West Memphis
families received food, clothing and medical attention
during these disasters; and
WHBRBAS, his actions have demonstrated the true spirit
and pride of West Memphians and he serves as an inspiration
to us all; and
WHBRBAS, the Citizens of West Memphis will be forever
grateful to Forrest Dunlap for his service as Disaster
Relief Coordinator;
NOW, THEREFORE, BB IT RESOLVED BY THB CITY COUNCIL OF
THB CITY OF WEST MBMPHI3, ARKANSAS, that Forrest Dunlap be
publicly commended for his outstanding dedication and
service as Disaster Relief Coordinator.
