A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR APPLYING FOR
FINANCING THROUGH THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMIN-
ISTRATION FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THOMPSON AND WALKER
STREETS.
WHEREAS, the Title IX Sudden and Severe Economic Dislocation
project of the Economic Development Administration has financing
available to assist with improvements to Thompson and Walker Streets
in West Memphis; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis desires to make necessary
improvements to Thompson and Walker streets and to utilize the
financing available through the Economic Development Administration;
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Clerk should be authorized to execute
and submit an application and other documents necessary for obtaining
funds through the Economic Development Administration.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
That the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute
and submit an application and any other documents necessary for obtaining
funds through the Economic Development Administration for improvements to
Thompson and Walker Streets.
