A RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH PROCEDURES FOR SETTING THE
AGENDA FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS.
WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to
establish the procedures for setting the agenda for its
meetings; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to modify the
existing procedure to allow the agenda to include all
Resolutions, Ordinances and other matters submitted as of
noon of the Monday preceding the scheduled City Council
meeting;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
1. All Resolutions, Ordinances and other matters to be

included on the agenda for any scheduled meeting of the
West Memphis City Council shall be filed with the City
Clerk's Office no later than noon of the Monday preceding
the City Council meeting;
2. Any Resolution, Ordinance or other matter not filed

within the time set out in Section 1 of this A~r~ik-tie may
be added to the City Council agenda only by a unanimous
vote of all Council Members present at such meeting;
3. All Ordinances filed with the City Clerk's Office

shall be sponsored by the Mayor or at least two Council
members in order to be included on any City Council agenda.
