RESOLUTION N0. /S7
WHEREAS, at the meeting of the West Memphis Planning
Commission on June 29, 1988, the Planning Commission considered
and recommended changes in the West Memphis Comprehensive Plan
as hereinafter set out as to the following described lands, and
the City Council finds that the recommended changes in the
Comprehensive Plan should be granted; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
That the West Memphis Comprehensive Plan be amended to
Commercial as to that part of the east 800 feet of Tract 2
measured from the west right-of-way line of Airport Road that
is not now shown as Commercial and to Industrial as to the
remainder of Tract 2, said Tract 2 being described as:
Tract 2: That part of the N 1/2 of Section 10,
Township 6 North, Range 8 East, more particularly
described as follows: Commencing at the northeast
corner of said Section 10, said point being a point
on the existing city limits, thence south 00 degrees
22 minutes 51 seconds west along the east line of
Section 10 a distance of 839.83 feet, thence north 89
degrees 48 minutes 29 seconds west a distance of
1003.79 feet, thence south 00 degrees 11 minutes 31
seconds west a distance of 500.0 feet, thence north
89 degrees 48 minutes 29 seconds west a distance of
300.0 feet to a point on the centerline of Airport
Road, the point of beginning; thence south 00 degrees
11 minutes 31 seconds west a distance of 410.30 feet,
thence west a distance of 2109.10 feet to a point on
the centerline of 15 mile bayou, thence north 23
degrees 47 minutes 02 seconds east a distance of
826.25 feet to a point on the south right-of-way line
of I-40, thence north 70 degrees 25 minutes east a
distance of 471.36 feet, thence south 19 degrees 35
minutes east a distance of 15.0 feet, thence north 70
degrees 25 minutes east a distance of 769.80 feet,
thence south 66 degrees 08 minutes east a distance of
221.8 feet, thence south 19 degrees 35 minutes east a
distance of 374.1 feet, thence south 57 degrees 22
minutes east a distance of 265.6 feet, thence south
89 degrees 48 minutes 29 seconds east a distance of
51.51 feet, to the centerline of Airport Road, thence
south 00 degrees 11 minutes 31 seconds east a
distance of 162.06 feet, to the point of beginning,
containing 40.36 acres, more or less, and being in
the 900-1100 blocks on the west side of North Airport
Road.

and to Industrial as to that part of Tract 3 and 4 now shown as
open land and not classified on the Comprehensive Development
Plan, said Tract 3 and 4 being described as:
Tract 3: That part of the SW 1/4 NE 1/4 and the SE
1/4 NW 1/4 of Section 10, Township 6 North, Range 8
East, described as beginning at the southeast corner
of Tract 2 above described, thence south 585.0 feet,
thence west 2365.0 feet, thence north 23 degrees 47
minutes, 02 seconds east a distance of 639.3 feet,
thence east 2109.10 feet to the point of beginning,
containing 30 acres, more or less, and being in the
800 block on the west side of North Airport Road.
Tract 4: That part of the SW 1/4 NE 1/4 and the SE
1/4 NW 1/4 of Section 10, Township 6 North, Range $
East, described as beginning at the SE corner of
Tract 3 above described, thence south 304.4 feet,
thence west 2444.0 feet, thence north 23 degrees 47
minutes 02 seconds east a distance of 310.2 feet,
thence east 2365.0 feet to the point of beginning,
containing 16.8 acres, more or less, and being in the
700 block on the west side of North Airport Road.
