A RESOLUTION TO EXTEND WATER AND SEWER UTILITIES TO A
RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARK LOCATED IN THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF
SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 6 NORTH, RANGE 9 EAST, CRITTENDEN COUNTY,
ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, William L. Johnson Company, Inc., is developing a
recreational vehicle park on property owned by said developer
adjacent to the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, lying in the
Northwest Quarter of Section 20, Township 6 North, Range 9 East,
Crittenden County, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, the development of same will result in economic
benefits for the City and its residents by reason of the use of
the facility by the owners of recreational vehicles and other
visitors to the City; and, .
WHEREAS, the development will require water and sewer
utilities for the facility; and,
WHEREAS, William L. Johnson Company, Inc., has applied to
the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, to obtain such water and
sewer utilities from the City with the installation and
maintenance of same to be at the expense of William L. Johnson
Company, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the extension of such water and sewer utilities by
the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, is authorized by Arkansas
Code Annotated §14-234-111.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of West Memphis, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: That. the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, extend
to the recreational vehicle park development of William L.
Johnson Company, Inc., located in the Northwest Quarter of
Section 20, Township 6 North, Range 9 East, Crittenden County,
Arkansas, water and sewer utilities for the operation of said
~r+~ park .
SECTION 2: That said water and sewer utilities shall be
installed and maintained at the cost of William L. Johnson
Company, Inc., and shall comply with the directions and
requirements of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, Utility
Commission.
