A RESOLUTION APPROVING TWO CONTRACTS WITH ELLERS, OAKLEY,
CHESTER ~ RIKE, INC., AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO SIGN THE CONTRACTS.
WHEREAS, the West Memphis Municipal Airport Commission has
negotiated proposed contracts with Ellers, Oakley, Chester &
Rike, Inc., of Memphis, Tennessee, f'or professional engineering
services regarding construction of an apron and a taxiway to T-
hangars with associated grading and drainage, including a
detailed estimate of the cost, and for the installation of a
Category I Instrument Landing System (ILS) with associated
access roads, utility service and site preparation, including a
detailed estimate of the cost; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of West Memphis, Arkansas, desires
to approve said contracts and to authorize their execution by
the Mayor and the City Clerk;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT the proposed contracts with
Ellers, Oakley, Chester & Rike, Inc., of Memphis, Tennesse, for
professional engineering services regarding construction of an
apron and a taxiway to T-hangars with associated grading and
drainage, including a detailed estimate of the cost, and for the
installation of a Category I Instrument Landing System (ILS)
with associated access roads, utility service and site
preparation, including a detailed estimate of the cost are
hereby approved and the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereb~T
authorized to execute said contracts.
