RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, AMENDING THE B-89
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
~. WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis, Arkansas is carrying out a variety

1~ of community improvement activities with funds received under
provisions of Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Mempihs is desirous of approving an
amendment to this program specifying that certain. drainage
improvements to benefit the southeast part of West Memphis be designed
and constructed; and
WHEREAS, there has been prepared for the stated purpose an
Amendment to the CDBG Program, which is identified as a printed
document, consitsting of three (3) pages of narrative text, dated
August 17, 1989, which Amendment was reviewed at this meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
1. That Amendment No. 4 dated August 17, 1989, as identifed
above, be and hereby is approved in all respects as an official
revision to the City's CDBG Program and its Final .Statement of
Community Development Objectives and Projected Use of Funds.
2. That the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to notify,
advise, and otherwise publish information required in order to
effectuate this Amendment.
3. That all of the findings and determinations regarding the
CDBG Program are hereby reaffirmed and made applicable to this
resolution as if same were.repeated herein in their entirety.
4. That this resolution mall take
