WHEREAS, the West Memphis Planning Commission, upon

due notice and publication held a public hearing on August
30, 1989, and the West Memphis Planning Commission on
August 30, 1989, approved and certified to the West Memphis
City Council for adoption, a Comprehensive Development Plan
for the City of West Memphis and its environs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, that the Comprehensive
Development Plan as prepared, approved and certified by the
West Memphis Planning Commission be, and hereby is, adopted
and a copy of said Comprehensive Development Plan shall be
filed with the West Memphis City Clerk.

RESOLUTION NO. 01-89 ~ ~-;~Q
WHEREAS, the West Memphis Planning Commission has prepared
a "Planning Area Map" in accordance with the provisions of ACA
14-56-412; and
WHEREAS, the West Memphis Planning Commission has conducted
a public hearing on Wednesday, August 30, 1989 in order to seek
citizen review and comment prior to adoption of said map;
AND, WHEREAS, the West Memphis Planning Commission desires
to adopt said Planning Area Map in order to appropriately notify
the public of the boundaries of the area within its territorial
jurisdiction for which it will prepare plans, ordinances, or
regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE WEST MEMPHIS PLANNING
COMMISSION:
1. That the Planning Area map, dated August 1989, be and
hereby is adopted.
2. That the Chairman of the Planning Commission shall
forward and file a copy of~this Planning Area Map with the
records of the City Clerk of West Memphis and with the County
Recorder of Crittenden County, Arkansas.
3. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
