1200RESOLUTION NO. OCR
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH BARGE, WAGGONER,
SUMNER AND CANNON FOR THE VISUAL ENHANCEMENT
IMPROVEMENT STUDY AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT.
WHEREAS, the Design Review Commission has sought and.
received proposals from professional engineering firms for
the Visual Enhancement Improvement Study; and
WHEREAS, upon consideration of the qualifications of
each firm as set out i.n Act 61.6 of 1989, the Design Review
Commission selected three firms from which the Design
Review Commission has recommended the engineering firm of
Barge, Waggoner, Sumner and Cannon; and
WHEREAS, a proposed contract for the Visual Enhancement
Improvement Study has been negotiated and presented to the
City Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT the negotiated
contract with Barge, Waggoner, Sumner and Cannon is hereby
approved and the Mayor and the City Cleric are hereby

of West Memphis, Arkansas.
