WHEREAS, at the meeting of the West Memphis Planning
Commission on September 27, 1989, the Planning Commission considered
and recommended a change, in the West Memphis Comprehensive Plan from
Commercial to Industrial of the following described lands, and the City
Council finds that the recommended change in the Comprehensive Plan
should be granted; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
That the West Memphis Comprehensive Plan be amended to
Industrial with respect to:
Common Address - 581 East Broadway

Beginning at the intersection at the centerline of East Polk Street
with the East Line of the Northwest Quarter, Section 18, Township 6
North, Range 9 East continuing Westward to the intersection of said
centerline extended with the West line of Lot Six (6) of the Southwide
Subdivision recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 334; North along the West
line of said Lot Six (6) to a oint eight (8.00) feet West of the
Southwest corner of Lot One (1~ Southwide Subdivision, thence continuing
North 78 degrees 14 minutes, 29 seconds, East 272.19 feet to a point,
thence North 11 degrees, 51 minutes, 13 seconds, West 317.24 feet to a
point, thence East along the South Lines of Lots Two (2), Four (4),
and Five (5) of Southwide Subdivision to a point, thence South along
the East line of the Northwest Quarter of Section 18, Township 6 North,
Range 9 East to the Point of Beginning.
