RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, AMENDING THE
B-88-MC-05-0009 AND B-89-MC-05-0009
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAMS
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis, Arkansas is carrying out
a variety of community improvement activities with funds received
under the provisions of Title I of the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis is desirous of approving
an amendment to these programs by adding a home security program
and otherwise revising budget allocations for various activities;
and
WHEREAS, there has been prepared for the stated purpose an
Amendment to the Community Development Block Grant program, which
is identified as a printed document consisting of six (6) pages
of narrative text, dated March 15, 1990, which Amendment was
reviewed at this meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
1. That Amendment No. 5 dated March 15, 1990, as identified
above, be and hereby is approved in all respects as an
official revision to the City's Community Development
Block Grant Program and its Final Statement of Community
Development Objectives and Projected Use of Funds.
2. That the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to notify,
advise, and otherwise publish information required in
order to effectuate this Amendment.
3. That all of the findings and determinations regarding
the Community Development Block Grant Program are hereby
reaffirmed and made applicable to this resolution as if
same were repeated herein in their entirety.
4. That this resolution shall take effect immediately.
