WHEREAS, the Crittenden County Sheriff's Department has applied
for and been awarded a sub-grant from the State of Arkansas Depart-
ment of Finance and Administration Drug Law Enforcement Program,
and ,
WHEREAS, these monies are to be used exclusively for the de-
tection, apprehension and conviction of criminals operating in
drug trafficking in Crittenden County, and,
WHEREAS, cooperation between the City of West Memphis and the
County is Vital to the success of this program in the sharing of
information, equipment, facilities and other such assets as might
enhance the success of the program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of West
Memphis, Arkansas that this agreement of full cooperation between
the law enforcement agencies of the City and the County shall exist
in accordance with the goals and objectives of the Drug Law
Enforcement Program.

INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT
THIS INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT made and entered into this 19th

day of aril 1990 , by and between the City of wFST
MEMPHIS Arkansas, hereinafter referred to as "City",
a municipal corporation of the State of Arkansas located in Crittenden
County, Arkansas, hereinafter referred to as "County", being a govern-
mental unit of the State of Arkansas, _
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the County has applied for and been awarded a sub-grant
from the State of Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration
Drug Law Enforcement Program, and,
WHEREAS, these monies are to be used exclusively for the detection

in Crittenden County, and,
WHEREAS, cooperation between the City and the County is vital
to the success of this program in the sharing of information, equipment,
facilities, and other such assets that would enhance the success of the
program.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have caused this agreement of
full cooperation to be executed by their duly elected, qualified, and
acting officials as authorized by resolution of the City Council of the
City Of WEST MEMPHIS
County respectively.
