A RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO OBLIGATE FUNDS FOR THE WEST
• MEMPHIS AND VICINITY DRAINAGE PROJECT OF THE U. S. CORP
OF ENGINEERS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City of West Memphis, Arkansas, will
serve as local sponsor for the West Memphis and vicinity
drainage project of the U. S. Corp of Engineers.
SECTION 2. The City of West Memphis, Arkansas, hereby
resolves to obligate an amount not to exceed $3,500,000.00
to be financed by funds through the West Memphis Utility
Commission for the West Memphis and vicinity drainage
project.
ADOPTED this 20th day of August, 1990.
