AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 205 SOUTH AVALON, TO ALLOW A
U-HAUL RENTAL FACILITY IN A C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Planning Commission for a
Special Use Permit, allowing inside storage in a C-1, General Business District as
required by Ordinance 1988, as amended.
WHEREAS, after notice had been published for the time and in the manner as
provided by Ordinance No. 1988, as amended, the matter was heard by the City Planning
Commission on July 25, 200'7 and the Planning Commission recommended that a Special
Use Permit be granted to allow a U-Haul Rental Facility in a C-1, General Business
District, subject to the following criteria:
1. Limit of 5 vehicles maximum on property;
2. Vehicles to be parked on South side of building, not past the east line of the
material inventory building, as shown on the site plan, on paved area only.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the following described property, to wit:
Address: 205 South Avalon
and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit allowing inside storage in a C-1,
General Commercial District, subject to the following criteria:
1. Limit of 5 vehicles maximum on property;
2. Vehicles to be parked on South side of building, on paved area only.
SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
