A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE GENERAL
MANAGER TO SIGN THE DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPLY AGREEMENT
WITH GROOT,LLC, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS AND
THE WEST MEMPHIS UTILITIES.
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of West Memphis,Arkansas, finds that the
Development and Supply Agreement with Groot, LLC, in the best interests of the City of West
Memphis and that the Mayor and the General Manager should be authorized to sign the
agreement on behalf of the City of West Memphis and the West Memphis Utilities.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED.BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and the General Manager are hereby authorized to sign the
Development and Supply Agreement with Groot, LLC, on behalf of the City of West Memphis
and the West Memphis Utilities.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
