A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE COMPREHENSIVE
DEVELOPMENT PLAN FROM RESIDENTLAL TO PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT (PUD) FOR CERTAIN DESCRIBED PROPERTY
LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 1305 WEST BROADWAY.
WHEREAS, at the meeting of the West Memphis Planning Commission on
January 30, 2008, the West Memphis Planning Commission considered and
recommended a change in the West Memphis Comprehensive Plan from Residential, to
Planned Unit Development (PUD), of the following described property, as follows:
Common Address: approximately 1305 W. Broadway
Legal Descriation: 4.42 acres lying in the SW '/e of Section 11, T-6-N, R-8-E,
City of West Memphis, Crittenden County, Arkansas, and being more particularly
described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of Lot 12, Block 2,
Third Addition Richland Subdivision as shown by plat recorded in Plat Book 2,
Pages 547 & 548, thence N82*24'30"W along the north right of way line of U.S.
Highway 70 a distance of 70.16 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence
N82*31'25"W along said north right of way a distance of 119.34 feet; thence
along said north right of way along a curve to the left with a radius of 2934.18
feet an arc length of 252.49 feet; thence NO*21'30"E a distance of 506.24 feet;
thence S89*38'30"E a distance of 370.0 feet; thence SO*21'30"W a distance of
541.51 feet to the point of beginning, containing 4.42 acres more or less.
And the City Council finds that the recommended change in the Comprehensive Plan
should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CIT COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the West Memphis Comprehensive Plan is hereby amended
from Residential, to Planned Unit Development (PUD), of the following described
property:
