AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE FROM R-1, SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL, TO PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD), A 4.46
ACRE TRACT OF LAND LYING IN THE SW 1/a SECTION 11, T-6-N, R-8-
E, CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, CRITTENDEN COUNTY, ARKANSAS,
LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 1305 WEST BROADWAY.
WHEREAS, application was made to the City Planning Commission to rezone
the hereinafter described property, from R-1, Single Family Residential, to Planned Unit
Development (PUD} and after notice having been published for the time and in the
manner as provided by Ordinance 1988, as amended, the matter was heard by the City
Planning Commission on January 30, 2008, and the Planning Commission recommended
that the application be approved and the City Council finds that such application should
be granted;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the following described property located in the City of West
Memphis, Crittenden County, Arkansas, to wit:
Common Address: approximately 1305 W. Broadway
Legal Descriution: 4.42 acres lying in the SW '/4 of Section 11, T-6-N, R-8-E,
City of West Memphis, Crittenden County, Arkansas, and being more particularly
described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of Lot 12, Block 2,
Third Addition Richland Subdivision as shown by plat recorded in Plat Book 2,
Pages S47 &. 548, thence N82*24'30'W along the north right of way line of U. S.
Highway 70 a distance of 70.16 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence
N82*31'2S"W along said north right of way a distance of 119.34 feet; thence
along said north right of way along a curve to the left with a radius of 2934.18
feet an arc length of 252.49 feet; thence NO*21'30"E a distance of 506.24 feet;
thence S89*38" 30"E a distance of 370.0 feet; thence SO*21'30"W a distance of
S41.S 1 feet to the point of beginning, containing 4.42 acres more or less.
Be, and the same is hereby rezoned as Planned Unit Development (PUD).
SECTION II. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith aze
hereby repealed.
