AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT, TO U. S. A. TRUCK,
LOCATED AT 2600 E. N. SERVICE ROAD, WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS,
ALLOWING A TRUCK TERMINAL IN A C-2, OPEN DISPLAY DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Planning Commission to
allow a Special Use Permit of a truck terminal in a C-2, Open Display Commercial District,
as required by Ordinance 1258, as amended.
WHEREAS, after notice has been published for the time and in the manner as
provided by Ordinance No. 1258, as amended, the matter was heard by the City Planning
Commission, on January 26, 2000 and the Planning Commission recommended that a
Special Use Permit be granted to U. S. A. Truck, for said property, to permit a truck
terminal in a C-2, Open Display Commercial District, subject to the approved.site plan
and the following supplemental conditions:
1. Landscaping along the West boundary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the following described property, to wit:
2600 E. N. Service Road, West Memphis, Arkansas
be, and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit, permitting a truck terminal in a
C-2, Open Display Commercial District, subject to the approved site plan and the following
conditions::
1. Landscaping along the West boundary.
SECTION H: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
