A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FROM C-V-E, CONSERVATION
EXTRATERRITORIAL, TO RESIDENTIAL EXTRA-TERRITORIAL
FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ALONG THE EAST AND WEST
SIDES OF WAVERLY ROAD WITHIN THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS
ONE MILE EXTRA-TERRITORIAL AREA.
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis Planning Commission held a public
hearing on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 and considered and recommended a change in the
West Memphis comprehensive Plan for Conservation Extra-Territorial, to Residential for
certain property located along the east and west sides of Waverly Road within the City of
West Memphis One Mile Extra-Territorial Area.
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN (SEE ATTACHMENT)
And the City Council finds that the recommended change in the Comprehensive Plan
should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The West Memphis Comprehensive Plan is hereby amended from
Conservation Extraterritorial, to Residential Extra-Territorial for certain property located
along the east and west sides of Waverly Road within the City of West Memphis One
Mile Extra-Territorial Area.
