AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT, TO GUARANTY LOAN
AND REAL ESTATE, FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 580 SHOPPINGWAY
BLVD., WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, TO ALLOW AMINI-STORAGE FACILITY
IN A R-4, MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Planning Commission to
allow a Special Use Permit of amini-storage facility in a R-4, Medium Density Residential
District, as required by Ordinance 1258, as amended.
WHEREAS, after notice has been published for the time and in the manner as
provided by Ordinance No. 1258, as amended, the matter was heard by the City Planning
Commission, on January 26, 2000 and the Planning Commission recommended that a
Special Use Permit be granted to Guaranty Loan and Real Estate, for said property, to
allow of amini-storage facility in a R-4, Medium Density Residential District, subject to
the special conditions as follows:
1. Approved site plan;
2. Site proof wooden fence along the East, West and South boundaries;
3. Wrought iron fence and landscaping along the North boundary, as approved by
Design Review Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the following described property, to wit:
580 Shoppingway Blvd., West Memphis, Arkansas
be, and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit, permitting amini-storage facility
in a R-4, Medium Density Residential District, subject to the special conditions as follows:
1. Approved site plan;
2. Site proof wooden fence along the East, West and South boundaries;
3. Wrought iron fence and landscaping along the North boundary, as approved by
Design Review Commission.
SECTION H: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
