AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE WEST MEMPHIS ZONING MAP
FROM CONSERVATION EXTRA-TERRITORIAL TO R-1-E AND R-2-E,
EXTRA-TERRITORIAL FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED
ALONG THE EAST AND WEST SIDES OF WAVERLY ROAD
LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS ONE MILE
EXTRA-TERRITORIAL ZONING JURISDICTION BOUNDARY.
WHEREAS, upon due notice and publication, pursuant to zoning regulations
adopted by Zoning Ordinance 1988, as amended, a public hearing was held on June 25,
2008, and the Planning Commission has approved and recommended to amend the West
Memphis Zoning Map from Conservation Extra-Territorial to R-1-E, Single Family
Extra-Territorial and R-2-E, Low Density Residential Extra-Territorial, for certain
property located along the east and west sides of Waverly Road located within the City of
West Memphis One Mile Extra-Territorial Zoning Jurisdiction Boundary.
ZONING MAP (SEE ATTACHMENT)
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That certain property located along the east and west sides of
Waverly Road located within the City of West Memphis One Mile Extra-Territorial
Zoning Jurisdiction Boundary be, and the same is hereby rezoned as R-1-E, Single
Family Residential Extra-Territorial and R-2-E, Low Density Residential Extra-
Territorial.
SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
