RESOLUTION NO. ~ 8~
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF LIENS FOR GRASS
CUTTING SERVICES PERFORMED BY THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS.
WHEREAS, Resolutions 1666, 1757, 1778, 1804, 1827, 1871 and 1881 adopted by the
West Memphis City Council certified charges to be placed as liens against certain property
within the City of West Memphis, including that property located at 424-426 S. 16`h Street, for
grass cutting services performed by the City of West Memphis pursuant to Ordinance 1385; and
WHEREAS, Resolutions 1666, 1757, 1778, 1804, 1827, 1871 and 1881 certified charges
totaling $1,036.64 to be placed as liens against the property owned by B W Wilson at 424-426 S.
16`h Street in West Memphis for grass cutting; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Code Enforcement Office that the liens of
$1,036.64 placed against the property located at 424-426 S. 16`h Street in West Memphis by
Resolutions 1666, 1757, 1778, 1804, 1827, 1871 and 1881 be removed due to an offer being
made for purchase of the property and removing the burden of future grass cutting services to be
performed by the City of West Memphis;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The liens imposed by Resolutions 1666, 1757, 1778, 1804, 1827, 1871
and 1881 pursuant to the authority of Ordinance 1385 against the property owned by B W Wilson
at 424-426 S. 16`h Street in West Memphis, Arkansas, is hereby authorized to be removed.
SECTION 2: The Code Enforcement Office is directed to forward a copy of this
Resolution to the Crittenden County Tax Collector's Office and to the property owner.

WEST MEMPffiS PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE 1385
AND REMOVAL OF CONSTRUCTION~REMODELING
AND DEMOLITION TYPE DEBRIS PURSUANT TO
ORDINANCE 1697.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No.13~, passed by the City Council of the City of West
Memphis, Arkansas, the 20th day of December 1990, and Ordinance No. 1697, passed by
the City Council of West Memphis, Arkansas, the 20th day of July, 1995, provided that
the City Council may impose a lien: and
WHEREAS, the amount of the lien herein provided may be deternned at a
hearing before the City Council held after thirty (30) days written notice by certified mail
to the owner or owners of the property, if the name and whereabouts of the owners be
lrnown, and if the name of the owner or owners cannot be determined, then after
publication of notice of such hearing in a newspaper having a bona fide circulation in
Crittenden. County for one (1) insertion per week for four (4) consecutive weeks: the
amount so determined at said hearing plus ten percentum (10%) penalty for collection,
shall be certified by the City Council to the Crittenden County Tax Collector, and by him
placed on the tax books as delinquent taxes, and collected accordingly, and the amount,
less three percentum (3%) thereof, when so collected shall be paid to the City of West
Memphis, Arkansas
WHEREAS, upon due notice a hearing was held before the City Council on
October 5, 2000 for the purpose of determining the amount of liens to be imposed on the
herein described property;
THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS that the following described properties
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference shall have a
lien imposed for grass cutting services performed by the City of West Memphis pursuant
to Ordinance No. 1385 and removing construction~remodeling and demolition type debris
pursuant to Ordinance No. 1697.
The Planning and Development Department is hereby directed to forward a copy of this
Resolution to the Crittenden County Tax Collector for collection.

A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE AMOUNTS OF
LIENS Il4IIPOSED ON CERTAIN PROPERTIES FOR
GRASS CUTTING, CLEANIl~IG LITTER, DEBRIS AND
POOLS ,CONTRACTED BY THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS
PURSUANT TO ORDINANCES NO.1385.
WHEREAS, Ordlnance No. 1385_ passed by the City Council of the City of West
Memphis, Arkansas, the 20th day of December 1990, provided.that the City Council may
impose a lien: and
WHEREAS, the amount of the lien herein provided may be determined at a
hearing before the City Council held after thirty (30) days written notice by certified mail
to the owner or owners of the properly, if the name and v~hereabouts of the owners be
known, and if the name of the owner or owners cannot be determined, then after
publication of notice of such hearing in a newspaper having a bona fide circulation in
Crittenden County for one (1) insertion per week for four (4) consecutive weeks: the
amoum so determined at said hearing plus ten percentum (10%) penalty for collection,
shall be certified by the City Council to the Crittenden County Tax Collector, and by him
placed on the tax books as delinquent taxes, and collected accordingly, and the amount,
less three percentum (3%) thereof when so collected shall be paid to the City of West
- Memphis, Arkansas
WHEREAS, upon due notice a hearing was held before the City Council on
November 3, 2005, for the purpose of determining the amount of liens to be imposed on
the herein described property;
THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS that the following described properties
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference shall have a
lien imposed for grass cutting services, cleaning litter, debris and pools, performed by the
City of West Memphis pursuant to Ordinance No. 1385.
The Planning and Development Department is hereby directed to forward a copy of this
Resolution to the Crittenden County Tax Collector for collection. ` _ ,,

GRASS CUTTING CONTRACTED BY THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE 1385
AND FOR THE REMOVAL OF CONSTRUCTION
MATERIALS PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE 1697.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1385, passed by the City Council of the City of West
Memphis, Arkansas, on the 20~' day of December 1990, and Ordinance No. 1697, passed
~.F by the City Council of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, the 20~' day of July, 1995
provided that the City Council may impose a lien: and

CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS that the following described properties
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference shall have a
lien imposed for grass cutting services and removal of construction materials performed by
the City of West Memphis pursuant to Ordinance 1385 and Ordinance 1697.
The Planning and Development Department is hereby directed to forward a copy of this
Resolution to the Crittenden County Tax Collector for collection.
