AN ORDINANCE TO RE-DESIGNATE AIRPORT ROAD TO COLLEGE
BOULEVARD, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Mid-South Community College Board of Trustees of West Memphis,
Arkansas, are requesting that the City of West Memphis re-designate Airport Road to become
College Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the re-designation of Airport Road to College Boulevard shall be effective
from its intersection with the north city limits to its intersection with Taxiway Drive;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That Airport Road in the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, from its
intersection with the north city limits to its intersection with Taxiway Drive be re-designated
College Boulevard.
SECTION 2: That the West Memphis Street Department take the necessary actions to
see that Airport Road be renamed College Boulevard and give notices to all parties concerned.
