AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1224
SOUTH AVALON IN THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, FROM R-2, LOW
DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, TO R-4, MULTIFAMILY RESIDENTIAL.
WHEREAS, application was made to the City Planning Commission to rezone
the hereinafter described property, and after notice having been published for the time
and in the manner as provided by Ordinance No. 1988, as amended, the matter was heazd
by the City Planning Commission on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 and the Planning
Commission recommended to approve the application to rezone the following described
property:
Street Address: 1224 South Avalon
Legal Description: Replat of Lots 13-16; Lots 29-32; and the N % of Cole Street
(Closed), Showers Subdivision, City of West Memphis, Crittenden
County, Arkansas
from R-2, Low Density Residential, to R-4, Multifamily Residential.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following property now Zoned R-2, Low Density
Residential and the same is hereby, Rezoned R-4, Multifamily Residential:
Street Address: 1224 South Avalon
Legal Description: Replat of Lots 13-16; Lots 29-32; and the N %2 of Cole Street
(Closed), Showers Subdivision, City of West Memphis, Crittenden
County, Arkansas
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith aze
hereby repealed.
