MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY CC~LTpICIL OF WEST ""'HIS
__ AucusT 18, 1948
The Council of the City of lYest Memphis in the County of ~%rittenden, State of Arkansas,
met in a regular session at the City Hall in said City at 7:30 P,M. on the 18th day of August,
1948.
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor, and the roll being called there tivere:
Present: P. M. vacua in the chair and the following named Aldermen: G. W. McAuley,
Curtis Foster, U, I, Bollinger, and R, R, Morley; and City Attorney Spears.
Absents Aldermen C. H, Rowton and R. L. Garrison and City Clerk H, 0, goats.
It being determined a quorum was. present, the following proceedings were had to-wits
Mayor Dacus advised that as there was no important business to come before the Council
at this time,. and that the sale of the Auditorium Bond Issue was set for August 25th other
matters could be taken up at that time also and the reading of the Minutes of Council
Meeting of August 4th could be dispensed with until the meeting of August 25th.
Thereupon, motion was made by Alderman Morley that: The meeting of the Council be
adjourned until 7:30 P,M. August 25th. The motion was seconded by Alderman McAuley, and
upon the matter being called to vote, the follotivino voted:
Ayes Curtis Foster, G. ~~, McAuley, 0. I, Bollinger, and R. R. Morley,
Nay: None,
