The City Council of the t;ity ofwest ~:mphis in the County of Crittenden, ;state of Arkansas, met
in a special session at the City Hall in said City at 7:~0 P.;a,. on the 10th day of September, 198.
The meeting was ca).led. to order bar the Ma;;~or and upon the roll being called there were:
Present: P. M. Dacus in the chair, and the lollowin~- named Aldez~nen; k. R. kdorley,
Curtis Foster, G. 4d. Mc~~uley, and C. i'.. Rowton; and City Attorney J. H. Spears.
Absent: Alderman 0. I. Hoili.nger and R. L. Garrison, and Cit~~ Clerk H. 0. Coats.
It being determined a quorum was present, the follotiving proceedings ;were had and held, to-~^ri t;
The Mayor called the meeting bo order and announced that the purpose of the meeting was to
authorize payment to Frank H. Lea & Company the sum of •;~~,500.00 on cost of construction of Municipal
Auditorium, e+fter a discussion of the matter the following motion was made by E~].derman L4orley:
Twat the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorised to issue tree City's warrant in
the sum of "~2,~00.00 payable to Frank H. Lee & Company, said sum will be repaid to the i:,eneral Hlznd
of the City when the sale of Auditorium Bonds is consummated.
The motion was seconded by Alderman Rowton, and upon the matter being called, to vote, the
following voted:
Ayes Curtis Foster, G. ~~f. ~+cAuley, R. R. Morley, and C. H. Rowton.
Nay: None.
No furhter business comin}; before the Council, the meeting was adjourned.
