2091ORDINANCE NO. n~ ©~ AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 900 RAINER ROAD, ALSO, KNOWN AS: THEE 1/2 OF E 1/2 OF SECTION 23, T-6-N, R-8-E, SOUTH OF RAINER ROAD AND NORTH OF DITCH NO. 17, CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, CRITTENDEN COUNTY, ARKANSAS, CONTAINING 55 ACRES MORE OR LESS, FROM I-1, LIMITED INDUSTRIAL TO R-4, MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL. WHEREAS, application was made to the City of West Memphis Planning Commission to rezone the hereinafter described property, and after notice having been published for the time and in the manner as provided by Ordinance No. 1988, the matter was heard by the Planning Commission on Wednesday, February 25, 2004 and the Planning Commission recommended that the application be approved and that the following property be rezoned from I-1, Limited Industrial, to R-4, Medium Density Residential: Common Address: Approximately 900 Rainer Road Legal Description: The E 1/2 of E 1/2 of Section 23, T-6-N, R-8-E, South of Rainer Road and North of Ditch No. 17, City of West Memphis, Crittenden County, and containing 55 acres more or less WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of West Memphis approved said petition and recommends that said rezoning be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCII. OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That the following property now Zoned I-1, Light Industrial, be and the same is hereby, rezoned as R-4, Medium Density Residential: Common Address: Approximately 900 Rainer Road Legal Description: The E 1/2 of E 1/2 of Section 23, T-6-N, R-8-E, South of Rainer Road and North of Ditch No. 17, City of West Memphis, Crittenden County, and containing 55 acres more or less SECTION 2.
